The below video illustrates some of the Testing of Foam Monitors fed by custom CAFS Compressed Air Foam System designed and manufactured by Burner Fire Control. This System is designed for fire protection on Helideck Facilities on Offshore Platforms and other Structures to include Wind Turbines and Marine Vessels.

The Compressed Air Foam System – or CAFS – is designed and built to deliver Class A and Class B Compressed Air Foam through integrated oscillating monitors covering the heliport / helideck based on calculations of the Heliport or Helideck’s “D-Value”(overall dimensions).

The self-contained CAFS System is designed to operate electronically or pneumatically via a control panel also mounted on the skid system with a battery backup for redundancy.

The System is totally self-contained and NO outside power from the facility is required.
